DAGA Membership

Allotment holders and Gardeners in the Daventry Area can join Daventry Allotment & Garden Association.  

The annual charge is £5.00 payable at the beginning of September

DAGA Members will

1. Receive a "Welcome booklet" providing details of the Association

2. Become an affiliated member of the National Allotment Society through our group membership.  The N.A.S promotes allotments nationally and provides support to its members.

3. Benefit from our annual seed and seed potato orders purchased on your behalf at very competitive prices.

4. You will be able to use the Allotment Store, where members can purchase items including compost and fertilisers at low prices. Some of our products are sold loose so you only have to purchase the quality you need.

5. Get assistance to solve allotment issues with the Daventry Town Council.

6. Attend the AGM - we normally invite a guest speaker and offer refreshments afterwards.

7. Put forward your ideas for improving the allotments and practices.

8. Get advice on managing an allotment and growing produce.

Through our members and events like the Daventry Flower and Vegetable Show, we hope to encourage people to take up gardening and enhance the towns community spirit.  The larger our membership the more influence the association can provide.
